NAPLES, FL, October 9, 2017 – Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc. (CEC), a diversified engineering and professional consulting firm based in Naples, Florida and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is honored to be celebrating its 40th anniversary.

CEC was founded on April 1, 1977, by Kris Dane, P.E., and Michael Stephen, Ph.D., P.G. Operating on its mission statement to improve the quality of life within its communities, the firm’s highly qualified, multi-disciplined staff of engineers, scientists, and surveyors provide solutions to an ever-changing complex physical environment.

During these 40 years, CEC has been honored and privileged to be a part of this country’s vision to restore and maintain its fragile ecosystems, having been selected by various state and federal governmental agencies to provide comprehensive services for projects of national significance. The firm is actively involved in the evaluation, planning, permitting, and design of diverse marine infrastructure and ecosystem restoration projects along the Gulf Coast.

Over 67% of CEC’s staff has been with the firm over 10 years.
