Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc. (CEC) recognizes that we are an integral part of our local community, and community involvement is encouraged.

For nearly three decades, CEC has supported organizations and provided continuing service and funding support to a large number of worthy community services and organizations. Members of our staff serve as volunteers, officers, and directors of organizations that include Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club of Naples, Rotary International, Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), Southwest Florida Builders Association, Economic Development Council, Partner in Education (Golden Apple), Presidents' Council, Neighborhood Health Clinic, Hospice of Southwest Florida, and several area schools.

In the 2004 election cycle, CEC was designated a Community Champion for their leadership role in encouraging more people to vote. Part of their effort included adopting a precinct and providing volunteer pole workers for primary and general elections.

Every year, CEC determines or renews its main area of focus for its giving based on an assessment of significant community need and our staff's interests and involvement.

Investing in Young People

CEC's giving and support is focused on youth, education, and the programs that help young people become healthy, productive adults. CEC has supported many youth sports leagues by coaching and sponsoring teams, including baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Staff volunteer as tutors and mentors at local middle schools, high schools, and community colleges.
