In order to create a mixed-use, traditional neighborhood development at the southeast corner of Davis Boulevard and County Barn Road, Coastal Engineering Consultants prepared and obtained approval of an amendment to the Collier County Growth Management Plan, Future Land Use Element. The amendment created what is now the Davis Boulevard/County Barn Road Mixed Use Subdistrict and allows a mix of commercial and residential uses at a well-placed location within the County.
The project is currently within the Planned Unit Development (PUD) rezoning process according to the Growth Management Plan and Subdistrict to create a valuable community including an affordable housing component.
